The MFH15 series optical level switch from SICK is very sturdy, with a simple structure made of stainless steel and polysulfone resin, and a housing protection level of IP67. The optical liquid level sensor works using LED lights and the principle of refractive index. The liquid level sensor emits a beam of light from the LED light, which is guided to the receiver unit through the prism at the top of the sensor.
